Claire's Story from Farm to Bookkeeper

Small businesses are in Claire’s blood, having grown up on the family farm which was owned by her Grampy and Dad. She’s now married to Nick who jointly owns a successful audio company, Tamborine Productions Ltd.

Having graduated from The University of Nottingham with an Economics degree, Claire worked for large organisations including Debenhams, Superdrug and Kimberly Clark in various roles before retraining as a Bookkeeper and joining Nick at Tamborine Productions. Since then Claire has continued to grow her own business, meeting lots of interesting people along the way.

Growing up in the family business made Claire realise the importance of finance and cashflow from a young age and is where the seed of her business was sown. Getting to know her clients' stories and their businesses is key to Claire and she loves to find out what makes people happy, because if they’re happy they’ll be successful.

When Claire isn't number crunching she can be found out & about in nature, walking round RHS Wisley, or enjoying her garden. However, Claire’s biggest passion is Pilates; she’s positively addicted!

Claire was a founding Trustee of a charity bringing back to life a Grade 2 listed derelict chapel to become the hub of the community as a one stop Cultural and Arts centre (Horton Chapel) and continues to volunteer for the charity.
